The Vault Time Machine Watch, designed by Daniel Will-Harris, asks us to consider the fleeting nature of time. It tells the time in the 3 o’clock position – with this unique arrangement, we’re asked to consider the seconds first, then the minutes, then the hour. It’s constructed with three discs that turn clockwise, like the mechanism of a vault. Markings on the underside of the glass lens “mark time”. As the combination lock rotates it reminds you that time is precious and fleeting!
